Blood Donation

The Class Optical team recently did some good for our community. Last month we organised a Blood Donation Drive and encouraged all those who could to donate.

Many thanks to all who could make it and also to those who hoped to but for clinical reasons were unable to, at least this time. You can always try again next time :)

Ironically, there are less donations made in the summer season but the requirements increase as a result of more activities and socialising. One in seven patients that are hospitalised needs blood transfusion. That is a very high percentage.

We will try to repeat this drive within a few months' time, so in the meantime keep well, stay healthy and happy.
